The small Sicilian appellation of Erice DOC produces a range of red and white wines from both local and international varieties. The best whites come from Catarratto and Grecanico. Interesting reds come from Nero d’Avola.

Fazio is a medium sized family owned winery in western Sicily producing wines in the Erice DOC. With a focus on the island’s local varieties of Grillo, Catarratto and Nero d’Avola, the estate also cultivates Müller-Thurgau. They are currently one of two producers using the Erice DOC.
