In 2006, Jean Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud, famed for the ownership of Château Valandraud purchased Château Ratouin from the Ratouin family. They promptly renamed the Pomerol property Le Clos du Beau Père in honour of Murielle’s father. It produces a small amount of highly regarded red wine aged in new French oak.
