Domaine de Laulan was founded in 1974 by the charismatic Gilbert Geoffroy in the town of Duras between Monbazillac and Bergerac. Originally hailing from Chablis, Geoffroy founded the 30-hectare estate and is generally recognised as one of the key figures in the appellation.
