The Tenuta Montecchiesi estate is owned by the dal Cerro family of Tenuta Corte Giacobbe fame. Here in Cortona they produce a range of Tuscan wines from Sangiovese and Syrah. The winery is best known fro the ‘Selverello’ and ‘Klanis’ wines from Cortona DOC.
La Braccesca is a large Antinori estate covering 340 hectares of vineyard. It produces the traditional Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and a more contemporary expression of Syrah in Cortona.
