Bovale Grande

Bovale Grande is a red grape variety found on Sardinia. Genetic tests suggest it is the same variety as Spain’s Mazuelo, which therefore makes it Carignano.

Synonyms: Carignan Noir, Carignano, Cariñena, Carinyena, Mazuelo, Samsó
