Aglianico

Alberto Longo is a small, quality focussed winery in Puglia. The name is best associated with the little known DOC of Cacc’ e Mmitte di Lucera.

Pietracupa is a small estate in Campania run by the talented Sabino Loffredo, who is quickly developing a reputation for producing high quality Greco di Tufo. The vineyards, which cover about seven and a half hectares can be found as high as 800m and boast loamy, calcareous soils. Producing only around 50,000 bottles a year, they are one of the wineries to watch in Campania.

Tenuta delle Ginstre produce wines in the Vesuvio DOC and are known locally for their cultivation of the interesting Caprettone grape.

Cantine Antonio Caggiano is one of the top names in Campania. Situated in the village of Taurasi, this family winery makes traditional wines from the classic appellations of Irpinia.

Located in the province of Benevento in Campania, the entrepreneurial Cotroneo family sold their first La Rivolta branded wines in 2001. Today they produce the typical wines of Irpinia - Falanghina, Greco, Fiano and Aglianico.

Tempa di Zoè is a small producer based in the Cilento appellation of Campania. Based in the commune of Torchiara, there are five hectares planted with Aglianico and Fiano. For the moment, the company chooses to bottle wines under the regional appellations of Campania IGP and the more local Paestum IGP.

Villa Raiano is a medium sized winery based near Avellino in Campania. It was founded in 1996, the company grew off the back of growing appreciation of local wines such as Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo. In 2009 a new cellar was built close to Monte Terminio.

Tenuta Scuotto is an extremely exciting producer based in the Irpinian village of Lapio, home of Fiano di Avellino. The family estate is run by father and son Eduardo and Adolfo Scuotto and along with experienced winemaker Angelo Valentino, they have been steadily improving the quality of their wines in recent years.

Carputo is a boutique wine producer located in the Campi Flegrei. On the hill of Viticella Quarto the estate cultivates Falanghina Flegrea and Piedirosso.

Fontanavecchia is a quality focussed estate located in the village of Torrecuso in the province of Benevento in Campania. It is known for making a range of different wines, notably Aglianico del Tabruno and the white Falanghina del Sannio DOC. The estate is owned by the Rillo family who continue the traditions set down by the original family in the early 19th century.

Azienda Agricola San Salvatore is one of the key wineries of Campania producing a range of red and white wines in the Cilento area of the region. Founded by hotelier and entrepreneur Giuseppe Pagano in the 1990s, the estate now utilises the Paestum to showcase attractive, fruit forward mono-varietal wines from Greco, Falanghina, Fiano and Aglianico.
