Placeholder White Grape

Vugava

Allegedly brought to the Croatian island of Vis by the Romans, Vugava is a curious white grape variety capable of a big, floral Viognier-like character. Critics of the variety point to its relatively low levels of acidity, although now grown on the island Brač by Stina it appears to offer a lighter, crisper style.
