Founded by the Ferreira family, the wines of Quinta do Pôpa represent some of the most interesting in the Douro.

Krohn Port is one of the Douro’s underrated Port houses. Quality wines and value for money are associations regularly attached to Krohn.

Dating back to 1670, Warre’s is the oldest Port house in existence. After 200 years of family ownership it was acquired by the Symington family in the early 20th century.

Established in 1638 by Nicolau Kopke and his son Cristiano, Kopke Port is the oldest Port house in the Douro. The company is best known for its large library of Colheita tawny Ports.

Quinta do Crasto are one of the Douro Valley’s top producers of Port. Based in Gouvinhas, they produce around 1.4 million bottles a year.

Quinta do Portal is one of the most important Port houses in the Douro. They also make a number of good quality table wines.
