Pignola is a red grape variety found in Lombardy. It is not to be confused with Pignolo, the recently rescued red grape variety found in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Nino Negri is one of the iconic names of Valtellina. Now owned by Gruppo Vini Italiani, the estate is known for producing excellent expressions of cool climate Nebbiolo, known here as Chiavennasca.
