Lado is a little known and rarely used white grape variety from Galicia. It is recognised for its naturally high acidity and often blended with Treixadura and Torrontés in the Ribeiro DO.
Antonio Cajide produces highly rated Ribeiro whites from local varieties. Known best for ‘1040 Sameirás’ that blends Treixadura, Albariño, Godello and Lado.
