Albanella

Albanella is a rare white grape variety used in Italy’s Le Marche region, particularly in the DOC of Colli Pesaresi. While there are few examples in circulation to test the theory, Albanella’s natural acidity suggests it has the potential to age well. It is normally blended with other white grapes.

“Albanella topped up with Pinot Noir, this intense, floral mineral driven wine is incredibly elegant. It boasts attractive notes of tree fruit and citrus on the nose while the palate screams with stone fruit flavours. Great wine with plenty of character.”
